1. Services Provided
LiblibHub provides online language instruction in both one-on-one and small group formats. All lessons are conducted via third-party video platforms (Google Meet or Zoom). By enrolling in a session, you acknowledge that in a group format, your likeness or voice may be visible/audible to other participants.
2. Student Responsibilities
- Technical Setup: Students are responsible for a stable internet connection and functioning audio/video equipment. Technical failures on the student’s end do not qualify for a refund or a makeup session.
- Punctuality: Lessons will start at the scheduled time. If a student is late, the lesson will still end at the original scheduled time to respect the next student’s slot. If a student is more than 15 minutes late, the session is forfeited and charged in full.
- Code of Conduct: We maintain a professional learning environment. Any form of harassment or inappropriate behavior will result in immediate termination of the session and your account without a refund.
3. Lesson Packages & Expiration
- Payments: All transactions are processed securely via Stripe. LiblibHub does not store or see your full credit card details.
- Validity: All prepaid lesson packages are valid for 6 months from the date of purchase.
- Scheduling: It is the student’s responsibility to schedule their sessions within this timeframe. Unused lessons after 6 months are considered forfeited and non-refundable.
- Cancellations: You must provide 24 hours’ notice to reschedule a lesson. Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are charged in full.
4. Recording & Privacy
- No Student Recording: Students are strictly prohibited from recording, screen-capturing, or using AI-transcription bots during lessons without express written permission from LiblibHub.
- Company Recording: LiblibHub may record sessions for quality assurance or educational review. By remaining in a session after a “Recording” notification is active, you provide your consent to be recorded.
- Data Purge: To protect your privacy, accounts with no login or booking activity for 24 consecutive months will be permanently deleted from our systems.
5. Liability & Governing Law
LiblibHub provides educational instruction. While we strive for excellence, we do not guarantee specific exam results or fluency levels, as language learning depends significantly on student practice and commitment. LiblibHub is not liable for technical failures of third-party platforms (Google, Zoom, or Stripe).
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be handled in the jurisdiction where LiblibHub is registered.
